Learn to Geocache!

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure-hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants use a provided GPS device to navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates to locate a hidden "treasure" or cache. After an introduction to geocaching and the GPS device, we'll head out and geocache around the Park. 

Plan on walking 2+ miles so wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a bottle of water. All supplies/equipment will be provided, including a handheld GPS unit. Adults, as well as kids 6 and up, will enjoy this class. All children must be accompanied by an adult. 

When registering for this class, only ONE adult should register to reserve a GPS unit for their party. We recommend one GPS unit per 2 people. If your party is bigger than 2, it's suggested to reserve more than one GPS unit. Members of your party will take turns using the GPS during the class.
