  2. Please complete the following form to register for COB Employee Development Program Courses
    Each course will be taught in the Burlington Municipal Conference room in the lower level of the Burlington Municipal Building at 425 S. Lexington Avenue. Course attendance is open to full and part time city employees. Supervisors should approve employee participation before registration is submitted. Put Your Dreams to the Test! Your dream has power. It can inspire you! It can empower you! But will it reward you? In this course to reach your dreams you will be shown how to do the things needed to make your dreams come true. Most people fail to realize their potential because their dream remains hypothetical. This course makes your dreams attainable by examining six areas: -Is my dream really my dream? -Am I depending on factors in my control to achieve my dream? -Do I have a strategy to achieve my dream? -Have I included the people I need to realize my dream? -Am I willing to pay the price for my dream? -Does my dream benefit others? Join us on the 13th of May at 8:00am to learn how to address these!
  4. June Training Opportunity
    On June 5 from 8:30 – 12:00 the City of Burlington will be hosting a leadership seminar taught by Mr. Gary Blankenship. Mr. Blankenship is a phenomenal and engaging speaker with years of experience in the field of leadership and over thirty years in public service. The class is open to all full-time and part-time employees. The class will be held in the Impact Alamance building which is on E. Davis St. and is open to the first 30 employees who register.
