[ARCHIVED] Burlington Police Department Asks for Resident Input

The executive staff of the Burlington Police Department is currently working to identify specific and measurable goals for the creation of a multi-year strategic planning document for the Department. This planning document includes a commitment to meeting the highest expectations for professional conduct from the community, focuses on reducing crime and protecting people from harm, and seeks to provide equipment and training needs for our staff.

To create a plan that is truly responsive to the goals of the community served, the Burlington Police Department is asking for your input. A brief survey has been designed to gather feedback from Burlington residents regarding the safety of the community and their trust in the police force. The survey takes less than five minutes to complete, but the results will greatly help the Burlington Police Department in planning for its future.

The survey can be accessed directly here: www.BurlingtonNC.gov/BPDCommunitySurvey
Surveys may also be obtained at the Burlington Police Department, located in Downtown Burlington at 267 West Front Street. Surveys will remain available until 8:00am on February 24, 2014.

Please contact Burlington Police Accreditation Manager, Kim Biebel, at 229-3545 regarding in questions you may have.
