[ARCHIVED] Free Electronic Waste Drop-Off Event

The City of Burlington will host a free electronic-waste recycling event on Saturday, February 8th from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM in the parking lot of the Public Works building, located at 234 E. Summit Avenue.

Any resident can come to the Public Works parking lot to drop off electronic devices to be recycled. Business disposal of e-waste will be prohibited. Signage and traffic cones will be in place to help direct recyclers to the proper location. Home electronics, personal computers, personal electronic and many other miscellaneous electronic devices will be accepted at the e-waste recycling event. Batteries are not accepted and alkaline batteries must be removed from electronic devices before they are recycled. White goods, appliances, air conditioning units and other non-electronic items will not be accepted.
