The Box Office at The Paramount Theater will be closed from Friday, August 16 thru Tuesday, August 20 as the City of Burlington replaces the sidewalk in front of the facility. The Box Office is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, August 21 at 12Noon.
City officials cited the deterioration of the terrazzo entrance way as reason for the need the repairs. The terrazzo was part of the renovation and restoration of The Paramount, which reopened in 1998.
Although closed to walk-in traffic, theater personnel will be taking reservations over the phone. Customers using VISA or Mastercard can call 336.222.TIXS (8497) during the period from August 16-20.
The Paramount Theater, the City of Burlington’s performing arts and multipurpose center, is located at 128 E. Front Street in downtown Burlington.
