Purchase your tickets for the third annual Breakfast at the Carousel, August 18, 8:30a to 11am at City Park. Tickets are on sale at the Recreation and Parks office Monday through Friday, July 30 – August 17, 8a – 5p. Ticket purchases include a continental breakfast, a performance by Studio 1, a concert by Studio 1 Show Choir and rides on the Carousel & Train until 11am (with the exception of during the performances).
Enjoy an original play written and directed by Tamera Kress for this year’s Carousel Crusaders…Who’s Your Hero. This play will provide facts about our carousel with a Superhero twist. It is live, outdoors and incorporated into this one of a kind event. As a ticket holder you will watch as Studio 1’s performers leap tall buildings in a single bound! The Superheroes will display how they are able to bend Earth’s element to battle the forces of evil to create an unforgettable experience for the entire community. This event marks there are only twenty-eight days until this year’s 25th annual Carousel Festival. Come out Saturday September 15 and 16 to this home town festival celebrating our Dentzel Menagerie Carousel. You will be entertained and filled with excitement as you walk through the various artesian booths. Take a ride on the Carousel, get your face painted and watch local and regional bands at our two stage locations.
