WI Truck_thumb.JPG

Rehrig Pacific, the supplier of the new green 95-gallon roll-out recycling carts, has completed the distribution of the new carts to recipients of city sanitation services. If you have not received a cart are a city sanitation customer, please call 222-5095 to request a cart.

During the first week of July, Waste Industries, the City of Burlington’s new recycling contractor, will begin collection of residential recycling utilizing the new carts. The information that was delivered with the recycling carts will inform individual customers as to their first collection day.

Tidewater Fibre Corporation’s (TFC) will end their service by collecting their blue recycling bins when making their final recycle pick up in June. They will not collect any other bins, only the blue bins stamped with their names.

All questions regarding recycling and recycling collection should be directed to Waste Industries at 229-0525. Residents may also refer to the pamphlets distributed with their new recycle cart, or visit for additional information.
