Monday through Thursday (Feb. 6-9) of next week, the Burlington Police Dept. D.A.R.E. Unit, D.A.R.E. Burlington, and Capital Bank will sponsor the 15th Annual D.A.R.E. Middle School Basketball Classic. This event involves over 300 total participants from all seven public middle schools in Alamance County and is one of our ways to promote the importance of staying involved in positive alternative activities, as well as making healthy choices and wise decisions. Admission is $4.00 and all funds raised are disbursed equally to the athletic programs of the participating schools.
