[ARCHIVED] The Burlington PD's Community Relations Division is seeking Volunteers

The Burlington Police Department's Community Relations Division is seeking volunteers to serve in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Each year, Community Relations hosts the VITA program which provides free tax preparation service by trained volunteers to low and moderate income families. Volunteers will receive training and certification by the IRS, valuable knowledge and expertise, an opportunity to enhance their resumes, and pride in being an integral part of a high impact project that is working to rejuvenate the economy and our community by restoring budgets of low0income families. If you would like to learn more about becoming a VITA Volunteer, contact Carolyn Boggs at cboggs@ci.burlington.nc.us or at 570-6530
