Kernodle Senior Center has fans available through the Operation Fan Heat Relief Program for persons 60 years or older who are residents of Alamance County and are Duke Energy customers. Individuals must have an existing home situation that presents a threat to the person's health.
The fans may be picked up Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm at 1535 South Mebane Street while supply lasts. One per household. The fans are made available through Duke Energy.
