The City of Burlington will be modifying its garbage and recycling collection schedule due to the snow.
Garbage
The City's schedule was already modified due to the MLK Holiday. Monday's route (1/19) was originally scheduled to be collected on Tuesday (1/20). That route will now be collected on Wednesday (1/21).
Tuesday's route (1/20) was scheduled to be collected on Wednesday (1/21). Residents are asked to place garbage out for Wednesday; however, it may take until Thursday (1/22) for the all homes to be collected.
All other routes will remain normal.
Recycling
Monday's route was collected on Monday.
Tuesday's route will be collected on SATURDAY.
Thursday and Friday routes will be collected as normal.
