At the April 15, 2008 meeting of the Burlington City Council, Rich Gannon and Allen Clark from North Carolina’s Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) will address the Council in regard to the proposed Jordan Lake Rules. The presentation, and subsequent discussion, will center on how the proposed rules could affect Burlington. While DENR’s presentation will be conducted in an open Council meeting, it will not be a public hearing; however, council members recognize that the public may have additional questions. To address these, the Council is respectfully asking citizens and businesses to submit their questions in advance.
All citizens/businesses should submit their questions by 5:00 PM on April 14, 2008. City Council will review the submissions and ask NC DENR representatives questions not addressed during the presentation.
