[ARCHIVED] Council Requests Public Input on Webstreaming Council Meetings


The Burlington City Council is considering the use of webstreaming technology to increase the public's access to Council meetings.

"Granicus, Inc. provides comprehensive solutions for creating, managing and distributing live and on-demand streaming media content to support and enhance public meeting communications, internal training and public education programs for local government."

This technology is currently used by many surrounding communities including: Chapel Hill, Greensboro, Winston Salem, Durham, and several other local governments in NC and across the country.
