[ARCHIVED] Senior Men's National Softball Tournament Comes To Burlington

Burlington will play host to the Amateur Softball Association's (ASA) Senior Men's National Tournament for ages 50-75+ Labor Day weekend. Teams from across the United States will embark on Burlington beginning Thursday, August 30th.

With over 80 teams registered, the expected economic impact for the weekend will be tremendous. Hotel rooms and restaurants will be filled for the three day period as over 1000 athletes and families arrive.

Games begin on Friday, August 31st with pool play followed by tournament play slated for Saturday. Teams will travel from as far away as Michigan, Ohio, Connecticut and Kentucky as well as states bordering the east coast.

With the rich tradition of softball in Burlington, residents and visitors are invited to watch some of the best legends in softball compete for FREE. All games will be played at Burlington City Park and Springwood Park.
