From music to paddle boats and canoes, the 1st Annual Mack Fest will take place at Lake Mackintosh Park and Marina on Saturday, May 5th. (raindate-May 6th, 1pm-7pm)
This relaxing setting along the shoreline of the park and marina at Burlington's Lake Mackintosh (located off of Huffman Mill Road) promises to provide family fun for everyone. Events inlcude live bluegrass and jazz, to paddle boats, canoes, fishing and events for children. Events begin on Saturday, May 5th at 11am and will continue until 5pm. The Mack Fest Fitness Challenge includes a 5k and 10k run at 9am, and a 1-mile fun run at 8:30am. To register for the run, please contact John Ruddy at 336-222-5030.
