The National Senior Men's ASA Softball Tournament will kick-off with pool play beginning at 8am Friday morning with the double elimination tournament beginning by Saturday morning at Burlington City Park and Springwood Park.
Teams traveling from as far away as North Dakota have arrived in town to participate in one of Burlington's largest economic boosters, the ASA National Senior Men's Ages 50+ Softball Tournament.
As of Thursday, September 3, there are fifty-five teams scheduled to participate in the tournament. The economic impact from last year's tournament was over $311,714.00 that went back into the community through direct spending.
