UPDATE
Burlington, NC | On January 14, 2023, around 10:00 pm, Burlington Police, located Diamond Desire Levario. She was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, with Intent to Kill. Levario was transported to the Alamance County Detention Center where she is being held with a $500,000.00 bond.
There is no new information available regarding the victim’s condition at this time.

Burlington, NC | On January 14, 2023, at 2:26 pm, Burlington Police, Burlington Fire, and Alamance County EMS responded to Burlington Grill and Food Mart, located at 217 South Ireland Street, where a motorist reported seeing a male in the parking lot holding their neck and appeared to be bleeding. Upon arrival, officers located the clerk of Burlington Grill and Food Mart in the business, unconscious, bleeding from his neck.
The clerk was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries and is in critical condition.
During the investigation, officers identified the suspect as Diamond Desire Levario, a white female forty years of age. Warrants have been obtained for Diamond Desire Levario for Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, with Intent to Kill. The Burlington Police Department is asking anyone that knows Levario’s whereabouts to contact the Burlington Police Department.
