[ARCHIVED] National Night Out

National Night Out

National Night Out (NNO) is held annually on the first Tuesday in August.  The NNO Campaign is comprised of citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from over 9,700 communities from all 50 states, U.S. Territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide.Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils, cities, towns and neighborhoods will come together to celebrate NNO with a variety of events and activities such as block parties, cookouts, and visits from local police.

NNO has proven to be an enjoyable, effective, and inexpensive tool to promote a police-community partnership in our fight for a safer nation. If you would like to participate in National Night Out, contact one of our Community Relations Officers at (336) 229-3540. We hope to see you there!
