Congratulations to the players who participated in this year's D.A.R.E. Basketball Tournament. All teams played their best and a special congratulations to this year's winners.
Congratulations to the winners of the 2018 D.A.R.E. Basketball Tournament. The final games were played on Thursday, February 19. The Woodlawn Lady Eagles won it in overtime with a final score of 37-35, and Turrentine wins against Woodlawn in double overtime with a final score of 55-52. This year's tournament began on Monday, February 12 with a match up between Hawfields' Lady Huskies and Western's Lady Braves, where they won with a score of 18-10. The Hawfield's boys' team won its match up against Graham with a final score of 44-40. The Graham Lady Falcons played the Broadview Bobcats and had a final score of 29-26 in favor of the Falcons. The tournament continued on Tuesday with a match up between the Western boys' team and Southern with a final score of 50-4, and the Southern Lady Tigers versus Hawfield's Huskies ending at 16-14 for the Tigers. The Broadview boys' teams played Hawfields winning it at 64-27, the Turrentine Lady Trojans won over the Graham Falcons at 35 to 19. In the last semi-final game, the Turrentine boys' team beat Broadview at 55 to 49. Congratualtions to all of the participants with a special congratulations to this year's winners.
