The Burlington Bicycle and Greenway Plan is just underway. The planning process will take place through the summer of 2017 to identify opportunities for bikeways and greenways in Burlington that will improve quality of life and create recreation and alternative transportation options. The project team wants to hear from Burlington residents and will kickoff public engagement at the Holiday Magic: A Dickens Christmas on 12/9/16. The project team will have a booth set up where Burlington residents can provide input on maps and comment forms. The goal is to hear where residents want to see bikeways and greenways in the Burlington area. Residents can follow the progress of the project on the City of Burlington's website and public workshops will take place in early 2017.
