Departments throughout the City of Burlington are preparing to respond to the inclement weather that will begin in the early hours of Friday, January 22nd.

The Street division has completed brining thoroughfares, collector streets, downtown, and public parking lots. Street division employees will report to work again at 2:00 a.m. on Friday the 22nd. They will be deployed with salt trucks as soon as accumulation of frozen precipitation begins. The Street division will be salting and then plowing/scraping through Saturday evening.
