[ARCHIVED] FREE Electronic Waste Collection Event

WHAT: City of Burlington’s free electronic waste recycling event

WHEN: Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

WHERE: Public Works Parking Lot
234 E. Summit Ave.
Burlington, NC 27215

COMMENTS:
City residents can drop off electronic waste to be recycled at the Public Works’ parking lot. Home electronics, personal computers, personal electronics and many other miscellaneous electronic devices will be accepted at the e-waste recycling event. Signage and traffic cones will be in place to help direct recyclers to the proper location. Business disposal of e-waste will be prohibited. Batteries are not accepted and alkaline batteries must be removed from electronic devices before dropping them off to be recycled. White goods, appliances, air conditioning units and other non-electronic items will not be accepted.
