[ARCHIVED] City Launches Online Tax Payment Portal

The City of Burlington announces the launch of an innovative new website to help the tax payers of Burlington access important tax information on their smartphones, computers, and tablet devices. The new website is optimized to be conveniently viewed on mobile devices. The website is now available at web site address www.burlingtonnctax.com.

“Our new mobile website allows our citizens to search, view, and pay their property tax bill from the convenience of their smartphone or tablet without pinching, pulling, or scrolling on their screen” says Peggy Reece, Director of Finance and Risk Management. Citizens can easily pay tax bills online using any one of the three major credit cards, a PayPal account, or PayPal Credit.

The site was developed and will be maintained by Sturgis Web Serves of Fort Mill, South Carolina www.sturgiswebservices.com . Pay Pal® is an ebay® company and is the largest secure Internet provider globally.
