ITEM NO. 1Call meeting to order.

 

ITEM NO. 2: Approval of the minutes of the meeting held May 22, 2006.  (City and Extraterritorial)

 

ITEM NO. 3: Consent agenda:  (City)

 

(A)   Mr. Carlton Hawkins, representing Wakefield Development Company, to present an application for final plat approval of Tayside Townhomes, Phase 1, of Mackintosh on the Lake, Section N.  The property is located on the west side of Bonnar Bridge Parkway and south of Interstate 85/40 as shown on plans by Alley, Williams, Carmen and King, Inc., dated May 19, 2006, and containing 160 lots.

 

(B)   Mr. Carlton Hawkins, representing Wakefield Development Company, to present an application for final plat approval of Phase 1, Section 2 of Glenmoor Townhomes of Mackintosh on the Lake (J2).  The property is located on Gilchrist Drive south of Interstate 85/40 as shown on plans by Alley, Williams, Carmen and King, Inc., dated May 10, 2006, and containing three lots.

 

(C)   Mr. Carlton Hawkins, representing Windsor Investments, LLC, to present an application for final plat approval of Phase 1, Section 3 of the Park Place Townhomes.  The property is located on Pavilion Drive east of Springwood Village Drive, south of Whitsett Park Road and west of Springwood Church Road as shown on plans by Alley, Williams, Carmen and King, Inc., dated June 6, 2006, and containing four lots.

(E)   Mr. Dave Southard, representing D. R. Horton, Inc., to present an application for preliminary plan approval of Phase 3 of the Ingle Park Gardens Subdivision.  The property is located on the east side of Springwood Church Road approximately 1,900 feet north of Whitsett Park Road as shown on plans by Evans Engineering, Inc., dated June 9, 2006, and containing 39 lots.

 

(F)   Mr. Rodney Herring, representing the Keystone Group, Inc., to present an application for final plat approval of Phase Two of the Woods at Grove Park Townhomes.  The property is located north of South Mebane Street and east of Elderwood Lane as shown on plans by Simmons Engineering, Inc., dated May 31, 2006, and containing nine lots.

 

ITEM NO. 4: Mr. Charles Bateman, representing Burlington Nissan-Hyundai, to present an application to rezone from R-15, Residential District, and O-I, Office-Institutional District, to CB, Conditional Business District, to allow for the construction of an automobile dealership.  The property is located on the north side of Huffman Mill Road and south of Whitesell Drive approximately 1,300 feet southwest of Kirkpatrick Road as shown on Alamance County Tax Map 3-22, Lots 19 and 22.  (Extraterritorial)

 

ITEM NO. 5: Mr. William Simmons, representing Mr. David Smith, to present an application to rezone from B-1, Neighborhood Business District, to CB, Conditional Business District, to allow for the construction of a pharmacy.  The property is located on the south side of West Harden Street approximately 780 feet east of Maple Avenue as shown on Alamance County Tax Map 6-5, Lots 5 and 6.  (City)

 

ITEM NO. 6: Mr. Phil Koch, representing Mr. Ron Senecal, to present an application to rezone from R-9, Residential District, to CB, Conditional Business District, to allow for a retail business/restaurant.  The property is located at 2669 Maple Avenue on the east side of Anthony Road approximately 460 feet south of the intersection of Anthony Road and Maple Avenue as shown on Alamance County Tax Map 6-6-37A.  (City)

 

ITEM NO. 7: Mr. Mark Reich, representing Mackintosh LLC, to present an application to amend a Conditional Mixed Use Residential (CMX-R) zoning to allow the construction of a 10,620 square foot day care facility.  The property is located on the south side of the proposed Bonnar Bridge Parkway approximately 400 feet west of West Buckhill Road as shown on Alamance County Tax Map 3-23, a portion of Lot 7A.  (City)
