It feels good to give!

When you give- whether it is your time volunteering, supplies that help us care for pets, or a monetary gift that supports lifesaving medical care- you can feel good knowing your contribution directly helps pets in our local community. Together, we are making a difference for good in the lives of people and pets in our community. 

 

We gratefully accept donations and use them to help pets in our program and in the community. Email us at animalservices@burlingtonnc.gov if you have questions about items that you would like to donate.

  • Leashes, collars and harnesses in all sizes
  • Fleece throw-sized blankets
  • Blankets
  • Bath towels
  • Pet beds
  • Dog and cat toys and treats
  • Peanut butter
  • Bleach
  • Laundry detergent
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Dog/Cat crates and carriers
  • Pet Medication and Medical Supplies
  • Shampoo, brushes, combs, clippers
  • Straw (Bales)
  • Dog houses
  • Wood shavings 
  • Pet food for foster program pets, community safety net services program, and Animal Resource Friends' community pet food pantry
  • Monetary donations towards medical care for shelter pets
