Pay Your Water Bill
ONLINE: You can pay your water bill online at https://selfservice.burlingtonnc.gov/mss/ . Step-by-step instruction for online bill pay here.
IN-PERSON: You can pay your water bill in person from 8am – 5pm at the Municipal Annex, 237 West Maple Ave. Drive-thru and walk-in options available.
BY MAIL: Payments may be mailed to PO Box 1358, Burlington, NC 27216-1358
BY RECURRING BANK DRAFT: Contact (336) 222-5100 and ask about the Burlington Utility Bank Draft Plan

Water Turn-On/Turn-Off
Property Owners: Call 336-222-5100 or visit the Municipal Annex, 237 West Maple Avenue.
Renters/Lessors: A deposit is required to turn on service ($75 for City residents or $100 for customers outside City limits) and can be paid at the Municipal Annex, 237 West Maple Avenue.

Stormwater
Burlington’s stormwater system is made up of natural and man-made infrastructure that helps carry rain water throughout the city to local streams, creeks, and rivers.
Our Stormwater Division works to improve and maintain this system as a means to reduce hazardous flooding, preserve water resources, and protect people in our community.
