Documentation Regarding the Proposed Relocation of National Register Menagerie Carousel
Federal and State guidelines for Certified Local Government (CLG) Programs require that the CLGs participate in the process of nominating properties to the National Register of Historic Places. This participation involves the review of nominations within the jurisdiction of the CLG by the CLG Commission and the chief elected official. Opportunity for public comment is available during a comment period ending October 4, 2020. The commission and the chief elected official are required to submit comments to the State Historic Preservation Office and the owner of the property relaying their findings as to the eligibility of the property under consideration for listing in the National Register. Please forward any comments to: David Beal, firstname.lastname@example.org, with the subject "Carousel Comments". Thank you.
