Aquatic Facilities 

The Maynard Aquatic Center provides year-round swimming activities and programming. The Burlington Splash Park and North Park Pool offer seasonal fun in the sun. Learn more about aquatic facilities

BMX Track 

The BMX track is located adjacent to the Burlington Sock Puppet Stadium. Burlington BMX is a non-profit, volunteer-run bicycle motocross track open to riders of all ages. BMX events are sprint bicycle races held on off-road, single-lap racetracks. Learn more about BMX

Burlington Tennis Center

The Burlington Tennis Center (BTC) is a state-of-the-art, public facility offering twelve, plexipave, lighted courts positioned in four banks of three courts with a tennis pavilion, bleachers, and tables for viewing during programs and events. Learn more about the Burlington Tennis Center

Community Centers

Community Centers offer a variety of programs and services for all ages throughout the city. Community Centers host classes, programs and activities, as well as provide various types of rental spaces suitable for family reunions, birthday parties, receptions, small gatherings and classes. Lakes & Marinas 

Burlington operates four marinas on three lakes. Various types of recreational opportunities are offered throughout the lake system including boating, paddling, sailing, skiing, fishing, picnicking, and hiking. Swimming is not allowed. Learn more about lakes and marinas

The Valley Golf Course

Nestled along the banks of the Haw River, the Valley Golf Course offers the avid golfer a fair test of their golf game. The 18-hole Ellis Maples par 70 course is available for regular and tournament play. Learn more about The Valley Golf Course.
