Thataways Youth Center is part of Burlington City Park. The facility is home to the Burlington Youth Council and the Teen To Teen Video and Theatre program, offering something to every age.Thataways is also used as a site for afterschool care and summer day camps.

Rentals are commonly attracted to Thataways. It serves as a great place for family reunions, wedding receptions, birthdays, or any event that you can think of. Thataways can add music to any occasion or event from a library of songs. The facility houses a pool table, foosball table, air hockey, and multiple arcade games to keep you occupied. Free • For all ages
Join us for a stroll around City Park and enjoy a cup of tea from a provided selection or bring your favorite! Pre-registration required by November 17.

Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, December 4, 8:00-10:00 am
$10 per person • For all ages
Enjoy this holiday tradition of eating breakfast with Santa. Event includes a breakfast biscuit, breakfast beverage, fruit, craft, and an opportunity to take pictures with Santa. Pre-registration is required by December 1. No walk-ins day of event. Space is limited.

Animals ALIVE!

Saturday, December 11, 11:00 am - 12:00 noon
Fee: $2 per person • For all ages (minors accompanied by a participating adult)
Special guest, Ranger Mikey, will bring some amazing North Carolina native animals and their exotic friends to share during this exciting interactive, presentation-style event! Ranger Mikey will make sure you have some hands-on fun and learn loads of cool facts about these amazing animals. Pre-registration required. Register now. No walk-ins day of event.
