Check out the NEW & EASY way to Register with CivicRec!
Burlington Recreation and Parks is now partnering with CivicRec to offer a cloud-based recreation management tool to allow citizens greater visibility of activities, classes, programs, sports leagues, and more that are offered by the department with more convenient online registration and payment options.

Program registrations and facility rentals through CivicRec are live now! Users are encouraged to set up an account and browse the current programs, activities, and rental offerings. Please note many programs and facility rentals are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Everyone will be a new user in CivcRec, even if a user had an account on ActiveNet, the previous online registration platform. All new users will need to create an account in CivicRec to register for activities or rent facilities. When registering your child for sports, you will no longer need to present your child's birth certificate upon sign up. If you are a new player, you will be asked to provide your child's birth certificate to your child's coach prior to the start of games.

If previous ActiveNet users need to access their account information or print receipts for tax purposes, the site will be available here through February 28. After that date, ActiveNet will no longer be available and user accounts will be deleted.

  1. Only TEAM registration will be allowedno individual registration. If you are a parent of a child that doesn’t have a team, you may register to be added to our waitlist. The waitlist is no cost. There are two ways to get your child's name on the waitlist. You may sign up through CivicRec or you may reach out to Mark Geiger ( If teams register that do not have enough players to meet a designated soft cap, players will be added from the waitlist in the order they signed up. If enough players sign up for the waitlist in one age group, the recreation department will put together the team. Please do NOT come to the office as the McDade building is by appointment only.
