This comment policy is subject to amendment or modification at any time. Multiple violations of the Social Media Comment Policy may result in the offending user being banned from use of City social media sites at any time and without prior notice.
While the City of Burlington understands that social media is a 24 hour-a-day, 7 days-a-week medium, the monitoring capability of the City’s Public Information staff is not. The City therefore asks that no requests for emergency service or immediate response be made through social media.
Please note that the comments expressed on social media sites do not reflect the opinions and position of the City of Burlington government or its officers and employees.
If you have questions concerning the operation of this online moderated discussion site, please contact the Office of Public Information via e-mail or at 336-222-5076.
