The Burlington Recreation and Parks Department offers a variety of activities for adults ages 55 and over under the direction of Jane Smith. From dinner and lunch socials to athletic events and trips, one is sure to find something of interest. A new beginning of an old tradition in Burlington has taken place with the opening of the John Robert Kernodle Senior Activities Facility. This unique facility offers an array of activity for all senior adults. From an extensive exercise facility to first class meeting rooms, everyone will have the opportunity take part in Burlington's newest state of the art senior facility. The building entrance is located off of Mebane Street directly adjacent to Willow Creek Apartments. It is within walking distance to the Burlington Aquatics and Tennis Centers.

Learn to Bowl on the Wii

This exciting interactive game is great for seniors to learn to bowl on the Wii. Loving Senior Care, United Health Care, and Edward Jones sponsor this event. Refreshments will be served. For more information or to register, please call 222-5135.
