Preserving Our Environment
 The energy used to power the City of Burlington's website is offset by BEF Carbon Offsets from the Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF). This action taken by our website provider (CivicPlus) supports renewable energy generation efforts that offset the effects of burning fossil fuels.
The City also supports environmental protection efforts through recycling in City offices, composting yard waste from parks and facilities, as well as the implementation of a thermostat policy to reduce energy consumption. The City of Burlington is proud to do its part in preserving our environment.
