    For 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade students only! We have 3 pool tables, foosball, Wii, and arcade games. Plus, 3 TV’s to keep up with all the sport scores! Pizza, hot chocolate, nachos, popcorn, and candy are all available for purchase in our concession stand. We also play the hottest music for you and your friends to dance to! Plus, play basketball on the patio with your friends!

  2. Musical Chairs – Countywide Concert Series

    For All Ages Musical Chairs outdoor concert series is a great way to spend an evening downtown or in one of the beautiful parks enjoying a wide variety of musical formats. This program gives local talent around the surrounding area a chance to perform in a comfortable setting and allows spectators to enjoy a picnic if they so desire. Patrons and concertgoers are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the park or visit a downtown restaurant for a delicious meal.   5. FREE AARP CarFit Program for Seniors

    May 29, All Day @ Kernodle Senior Center

    Ages: 55 & up Burlington Recreation & Parks is sponsoring a FREE AARP CarFit Program to be held on Wednesday, May 29th at the Kernodle Senior Center. CarFit was developed by the American Society on Aging along with AARP, American Occupational Therapy Association and AAA. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive check of how well you or your car work together. A trained professional will complete a 12-point CarFit checklist while you are still behind the wheel and takes only 20 minutes. You leave with recommended car adjustments and adaptations, a list of resources in your area and greater peace of mind.
