Join us on April 1st from 10:00am – 2:00pm at the Burlington Police Department (267 West Front Street, Burlington) for a Recruitment Open House.

Meet officers and executive staff and take a guided station tour. Learn about the BPD's benefit package.
Start your application process on-site with an HR Specialist.

Demonstrations include:

  • K9 Unit: 10:30am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm
  • Special Response Team
  • Motorcycle Unit: 11:00am, 12:30pm
  • Police Officers Physical Agility Test (POPAT): 11:30am, 1:00pm

The Burlington Police Department welcomes college seniors preparing for full-time employment, students currently enrolled in a Basic Law Enforcement Training program, professionals considering a career change, and sworn Law Enforcement Officers interested in making a move to a different agency. The Burlington Police Department sponsors a limited number of cadets to go through the Basic Law Enforcement Training program in the fall.
