May 7 - Sep. 24 Musical Chairs - Countywide Concert Series Musical Chairs outdoor concert series is a great way to spend an evening downtown or in one of our beautiful parks enjoying a wide variety of musical formats. This program gives local talent around the surrounding area a chance to perform in a comfortable setting and allows spectators to enjoy a picnic if they so desire. Patrons and concertgoers are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the park or visit a downtown restaurant for a delicious meal. This series is sponsored by: Alamance Arts Council, Graham Recreation & Parks, Burlington Recreation & Parks, Mebane Recreation & Parks, and Mebane Business Association.

Alamance County has a lot to offer from walking trails, to beautiful rivers and lakes, and exciting sports!

Cost: $10 per week, your first class is FREE & each participant will receive a pedometer (while supplies last)North Park in MOTION presents an Adult Summer Dance Series. Teen To Teen Theatre’s Poultry in Motion - July 27 - July 29
Burlington Recreation & Parks and Teen to Teen Theatre presents Poultry in Motion by Patrick Rainville Dorn. This play is a hilarious romp through Young MacDonald’s free-range poultry farm. Meet Chicken Little, who thinks the sky is falling (of course), and a gaggle of feathered characters such as, Henny Penny, Ducky Lucky, Goosey Lucy and Tina Turkey. This story would not be complete without the villain, Foxy Loxy. Director of Poultry in Motion: Maiya Reaves. Director of Teen to Teen Theatre: Carol Plew. Produced by Special Arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, Colorado.

Senior Adult Trip to Abingdon, VA - July 28 - July 29
Cost per person: 1 person in a room: $280, 2 people in a room: $265, 3 people in a room: $260, 4 people in a room: $255 Burlington Recreation & Parks and the Alamance County Community YMCA presents a senior adult trip to Abingdon, Virginia. On July 28th, we will stay at the Comfort Inn, enjoy lunch at Greenway Haven, see the matinee “Blue Sky Boys” at the Barter Theatre, dinner at Martha Washington Inn, and see the play “Annie” at the Barter Theatre. On July 29th, we will have breakfast at the motel, have a quick visit to Highland Festival, and enjoy lunch and the show “The Rat Pack” at the Wolhlfahrt Dinner Theatre. Cost per person includes hotel, transportation, lunch, breakfast, dinner, 2 shows at Barter, and a lunch and show at Wolhlfart. Deposit of $75 will be due Wednesday, May 12th. T2T Auditions for The Nifty Fifties - July 31 - Aug. 1
Auditions open to students 9-19 years of ageTeen To Teen Theatre presents a rollicking musical about the days of bobby socks, poodle skirts, soda shops, The Blob and the Edsel. Auditions will consist of singing a prepared song, learning a simple dance combination and cold readings from the script for this production.
