This service is available when no officer is needed at the scene of a crime, and there is no specific suspect information available. Reporting in this way may expedite the insurance claims process for victims and conserve police officer resources. Crimes eligible to be reported through this phone service include:

  • gas drive offs
  • shoplifting
  • motor vehicle thefts
  • forgeries
  • breaking and entering anything besides business or residence
  • bike larcenies
  • harassing phone calls
  • injury to property
  • identity thefts
  • information only

  • found property
